“I Am On Call”

My husband got called out of a deep sleep the other night.  He was on call at the local hospital and while he slept soundly, in the middle of the night, his cell suddenly rang, and the voice on the other end of the line urged, “Come in, Steve…we need you.”

Immediately, my husband rose up out of bed…answering the call.

Just hours later, the Lord spoke to my heart:

1

“I am here on call.  Just like Steve answered the call…I too am ready to get up and go to work whenever you call, Cinnie.  I am here RIGHT BESIDE YOU…I AM ON CALL…

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

Wow.  Are you kidding me?  Think of it!  A personal invitation from the Creator of the universe, announcing:

“I AM ON CALL.  WHAT DO YOU NEED?”

Blessed my socks right off.  Sure did.

I needed wisdom on a matter.  And I said, “Well, Lord, I’m sure You already know what I’m going to ask You.” To which He replied:

“Go ahead anyway.  It helps to articulate it.”

Now I don’t know about you, but for me this is probably what blesses me the very most. In this crazy, fast-paced world, where we relate to people on the fly…where virtual relationships have all but superseded genuine, sit-down, face-to-face, heart-to-heart REAL conversation and fellowship …yes, in the midst of an all-things-virtual world, I still can count on a heavenly Father Who:

ALWAYS has time for me.

ALWAYS welcomes my call.

ALWAYS listens with His great big heart.

And when I do talk to my awesome Dad — guess what?  Wow.  Somehow, someway, inexplicably I have His undivided attention.

Every time.

And so do you, my friend.  So do you.

So how ’bout it?

God is on call.  Right now.  For you.  And He asks:

“WHAT DO YOU NEED?”

Go ahead.  Tell Him.  Sure, He already knows.  But go ahead anyway.  It helps to articulate it.  🙂

I know.  Cuz it sure helped me.

God bless,

“And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”

~ Isaiah 65:24 [KJV]

“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

~ Psalm 34:18 [NIV]

“For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the LORD our God is to us, whenever we call upon Him?”

~ Deuteronomy 4:7 [ESV]

    • Wow, so great to see you! I have thought of you often, wondering how you’re doing and if you ever pursued your passion to produce Christian apologetic vids. Yes? No? Keep me posted. Thanks for stopping by, Jacob. So glad you found my new “home.” Next time, don’t be a stranger so long. 🙂 God bless!

      • I was out of work for three years and only recently found full-time work as a cleaner in a very busy tourist attraction in central London – the ‘Science Museum’. So now I can save up to buy a new computer in order to do YouTube videos in the future. I’ll probably have to film the videos outside of the house where I live – my parent’s house – because they are Muslim and it wouldn’t go down too well if they heard me thinking aloud about their false religion:) Let me talk about the gospel of John for a bit. .Muslims think the gospel of John was written by an anonymous writer who supposedly wrote a fake story about Jesus and yet. .there is an impressive piece of internal evidence within that gospel that tells me it was written by an eyewitness. Now there happens to be on YouTube a TV documentary called ‘The lying game – the crimes that fooled Britain’. This programme is about people who appear in front of the TV media and ‘plead’ for the safe return of their loved ones who have gone missing. .and yet all along they themselves were the ones who killed their ‘loved ones'(!) In this documentary a police psychologist – a woman who is a consultant to the security services – noted that people who tell the truth very often can quote past conversations with their loved ones. .while people who lie can’t do that simply because a conversation didn’t take place. For example a guy who killed a teenage girl was asked in a television interview what the girl’s last words were to him when she went out the front door of the house where they lived – he replied ‘Oh she was mumbling like her usual self. .’ He could not quote any part of the conversation simply because it didn’t happen. The documentary then shows another guy – a father whose daughter was abducted and killed – when he was asked about her last words to him before leaving the house he could actually quote part of the conversation. . .Now it turns out that near the ending of John’s gospel there is a quotation about a remembered conversation. .the one where Jesus told Peter about the beloved disciple. .”If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?” This particular part of John’s gospel sounds to me Very Much like what the police psychologist was saying about how people who tell the truth can often remember conversations. .The writer of John’s gospel not only can remember this statement by Jesus but can remember it to the point where he can correct a misunderstanding that was doing the rounds in the late first century Christian community. And if it is a remembered conversation then the implications are stunning to say the least. .it was spoken by the resurrected Christ – who just happened to mention that He Is returning to planet earth. .
Anyway I hope to talk about this matter in a YouTube video in the future.
In the meantime I’m getting ready to tell my dad – who is 82 years old but doesn’t have dementia – that he Will end up in the ‘wrong place’ after he dies if he willfully believes that Jesus didn’t die on the cross – as the Koran dumbly claims. I don’t really speak to my dad that often, because I can’t really speak my native language – Bengali – the reason being that I’ve lived in London since 1972:) But within the next few years or even months I Will tell him he won’t make it to eternal life if he knowing and willfully rejects the gospel. Sorry – I know it’s a long message:)

  1. Hi Cinnie – it’s good to see your new website which I’ve just come across literally within the last few minutes! I wanted to ask you if you can google information on a Christian woman called Rebecca Sterling who said that in 1999 she had a dream vision in which she saw a mixed race president leading the U.S in 2015. .In the vision she saw the mixed race leader cancel elections in 2016 and set up martial law. This was followed by an EMP attack on a U.S city. Now. .either she had one of the most impressive Joel 2:28 style Holy Spirit ‘downloads’ to date or. .she dreamed this from the imagination of her own mind. .Her story is not quite up there with the likes of ‘No Green Bananas’ but it is intriguing to say the least.
Anyway, in the meantime I look forward to reading your comments on this website. Your spiritual relationship with the Spirit of Jesus is special to say the least.

    • Jacob, re Rebecca Sterling — I did hear her being interviewed earlier this year on Trunews. It was rather mind blowing for sure. But since then, the follow-up interview [which I missed] has evidently been taken off the Trunews site. Not sure why, but I do respect Trunews Founder Rick Wiles, so I am just guessing he had reasons for removing the second part. Possibly a check in his spirit…?? Don’t know. As with all prophecy, time will tell.
